Frozen souk

I was in a souk with my cousin who needed to get presents for about 10 people. He was at a sweet stall and managed to get a deal worked out with the owner where he collected everything he needed for nearly nothing, and while the owner clearly wasn’t pleased they both eventually agreed.
I ended up picking up a plastic feeling jumpsuit for work that had the gloves permanently attached in a fetching yellow and red colour. I also bought a bucket to carry this in and shoved the jumpsuit inside.
We looked for a bus to board to go return home and one arrived that was two carriages connected by a trailer hitch with wires connecting the two.
The rear bus carriage was fairly quiet so we boarded that. Inside there were unlit gas fires at some of the seats with even smaller gas fires in front of them. I joked that things must be going pretty wrong if I needed to don the jumpsuit.
We were driving for hours through places that seemed familiar however we never actually arrived at our destination. It was getting darker and colder as we drove and we were drifting in and out of sleep.
Eventually, we must have both fallen asleep and woke up to find the whole bus frozen solid, unable to see outside through the frost and clearly no longer moving.
