Ingredients
- 250g Salted butter
- 180g Golden syrup
- 200g Brown sugar
- 400g Porridge oats
- 1/2 tsp ground cimmamon
- Optional: sultanas, chopped nuts, seeds
Process
- Pre-heat your oven to 180°C
- Spread butter around an oven safe dish to prevent sticking
- Mix together all ingredients, folding the butter throughout
- Spread mixture into dish, trying to keep the depth below around 40mm
- Bake for 25 minutes, remove from oven, then score.
- Allow to cool completely before splitting
